Child rate is for children 12 yrs and
under. Minimum age is 10 years
for all treks, except the Whirinaki Loop Trek (minimum age 8
years) and the 1-day
Te Urewera Tree Planting Trek (minimum age 6 years).
Pricing is based on a minimum of 2 people
(a surcharge applies for 1 person except for the 1-day
Whirinaki Loop Trek).
A 10% discount applies for groups of 8 or
more booked on the same experience.
There is a $100 per person non-refundable deposit on
bookings for overnight treks. There is a $50 per person non-refundable
deposit for one-day treks.
Full payment for overnight treks is
required at least 21 days prior to departure. Full payment
is required 7 days prior to departure for one-day treks.
A full refund less the non-refundable
deposit will be given if the booking is cancelled more than 21
days before departure. A 50% refund of the full trek price
will be given if the booking is cancelled 7-21 days prior to
departure. There is no refund for bookings cancelled less than
7 days prior to departure.

Treks assumes no responsibility for any personal loss, injury,
damage or delay. We reserve the right to cancel or alter any
trips and departure dates for any reason. We recommend that you
take out travel insurance.

We accept payment by both Visa and Mastercard.
The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the
credit card account due to exchange rate fluctuations. This
means that because we are based in New Zealand we have to
convert your purchase to New Zealand dollars at the exchange
rate on the day it is processed.
